Tentative Schedule of Events

Friday 6:00 pm-Vista Linda restaurant in Somers Social time! No host bar-hors d’ oeuvres and refreshments. Local legislators and area club members are invited to join us for a special kick off!

6:30 pm. Program speaker- Caroline Solomon, Chapter President, ACT! For America Introduction and background of ACT! The Flathead chapter is working on a variety of bills for the 2017 legislative session. Many of these proposed bills involve women and children. “How can you help in your respective districts?” Attire is business casual.

7:00 pm Buffet Dinner

Saturday

8:00 am-President’s Breakfast with Billie Love

Topic-“Is your club a social club or a political entity? Billie will lead a discussion for club presidents for fundraising, membership & retention, technology & communications and monthly speaker opportunities.

9:00 am -10:30 am-NFRW Special Projects Coordinator, Jenny Mundy from “Membership, Data and Your Dues” – All Members Welcome

“Are you a club president needing to know how you can support your treasurer?” “Are you currently a treasurer or new club treasurer needing to know new requirements? “Membership Chair-what information is needed for your club, state and national organization?” The treasurer is the most important elected board member next with the president. All club members are invited to hear Jenny’s interactive approach to your club’s finances.

10:45 am – Noon – MTFRW President Heidi Roedel

Club Awards and report on the 38th Biennial Convention-Phoenix Arizona. Legislative Updates-State Senators: Dee Brown, Jennifer Fielder and Janna Taylor.

1:00 pm – 2:30 pm-Executive Board Meeting* (closed to executive board members only)

Agenda items include: Presentation & approval of nomination of officers; financial reports; written club president reports; written district director reports and committee assignments.

1:00 – 2:30 pm-Club Updates, Membership, Speaker Opportunities and more!

For club members who want to interact with other club members from across the state. This is an opportunity to discuss your clubs and exchange of ideas. Discussion will be led by FCRW Vice President, Alice Blasdel and Board Director Sally Edwards.

2:30 pm-Board Meeting

Voting- on slate of officers; Swearing in of officers and district directors; Financial report

3:00 pm-Final thoughts & adjournment-Heidi Roedel

3:00 pm- Jenny Mundy will meet individually with club presidents and or club treasurers for those who need assistance in certain area with their clubs. Appointments are 15 minutes, on a first come, first serve basis. (One-on-one times will be included on the pre-registration form)
