Deanna Robbins — SAVE THE COWBOY, STOP American Prairie Reserve Deanna Robbins is a spokesman for Save the Cowboy, a group which is representing the agricultural and ranching population in Montana. Ranchers and farmers have cared for Montana lands for generations. If the American Prairie Reserves’ goals are realized, Montana stands to lose a significant percentage of its cattle industry, thousands of acres of Montana farmland, and the families who comprise the area’s communities and rural heritage. Agriculture is the number one industry in the region; it’s the economic backbone; Montana ranchers produce beef while driving the economy; production cannot co-exist with the American Prairie Reserve’s goal of an “American Serengeti” with free-roaming bison and more.
