News from the Central Committee includes the Republican Picnic Sunday, August 29, 1 p.m., at the old Edgar School. An inflatable play house will be provided for the children and CCRW voted to provide pies for a pie auction. There will also be a drawing for the raffle of a Ruger MK 77 gun. Tickets can be purchased from local Republican Precinct Committeemen and women at $10 each.
