Preschoolers made an American flag with their hands and feet. The hands are the stars, and the feet are the stripes. Elementary classes are studying the Star-Spangled Banner and American history. Photo sent to the Helena Independent Record:
This week, Cyndi Forbes, president of the Lewis & Clark Republican Women’s Club, presented three American flags to classrooms at First Lutheran School on 2231 East Broadway, as part of the club’s community Americanism project. Present are the teachers and their students receiving the flags and reviewing the Pledge of Allegiance to our flag.
