July 4 – LCRW/Pachyderms won 2nd prize in the float category in Polson’s Centennial 4th of July Parade. The float was historical with Abe Lincoln and the final words of the Gettysburg Address on the back and one of our veterans in his WW II white naval uniform (he could still get into it!) in the front flanked by the American and Montana flags and two flags honoring all the military services. LCRW and Pacyderm banners were on both sides of the bunting decorated sides. Candidate signs were attached to the bright red pick-up pulling it, and several candidates walked the route along with four of our members in Rehberg for Congress t-shirts handing out club information and Rehberg bumper stickers.
